Rebelles en Exil - Grand ReporTERRE
Russian theater director Tatiana Frolova and Ivorian journalist Soro Solo left their countries to preserve their freedom of expression, creativity, and testimony. On stage, their stories echo one another and come together to form a shared voice, born of exile and the need to resist.
Russian, Dioula, and French intermingle, sometimes without translation. Here, the words are not always understood, but the emotions come through. Audio archives, radio voices, heartbeats, and objects salvaged during the flight bring to life an intimate memory that sheds light on history and politics.
At the crossroads of journalism and theater, this production explores freedom of expression, the fragility of our democracies, and the mechanisms of imposed silence. A powerful work to kick off the 2026–2027 season.
