Base Uni'Vert Trail des Monts d'Ambazac - Le sentier des bonshommes

Much more demanding, this route is aimed at demanding trail runners who already have experience in the discipline. After a gentle start on a rolling road, the côte de Trasforêt sets the tone for the rest of the route, which continues on a false flat to Vieux Hureau and Saint-Sylvestre et Grandmont, one of the most important monastic orders of the Middle Ages. Descents on stony forest paths, flat terrain and climbs follow one another to conclude the loop at Vieux Hureau. The return to base is downhill on very old and sometimes very technical paths, especially after Puy Garsault.
