From the municipal stadium in Compreignac, this loop leads through a network of rural paths, lined with dry-stone walls and hedgerows typical of the Limousin bocage landscape. The route passes through villages such as La Courède, Le Boucheron Bas and Lavaud-Couteilhas, where traditional buildings bear witness to local know-how. You'll also come across small brooks at the bottom of the valley and wooded areas where you can cool off.

In Compreignac, the route runs alongside the town?s fortified church, a heritage landmark. Crossing the Croix Forge site, the route passes close to the RD5, which should be approached with caution. Further on, at Montchaud, the path alternates between grassy sunken lanes, small rustic bridges and unobstructed views of the hills. At La Gente, a gradual ascent leads to a link with the Sentier des Petits Ruisseaux, allowing you to vary the length of the trail
