Leaving from Eymoutiers, gateway to the Millevaches Regional Nature Park, this 76 km variant of the Entre Combade et Briance loop of the GR®de Pays Monts et Barrages en Limousin follows the western foothills of the Limousin Mountains, taking you to the emblematic summit of Mont Gargan - culminating at 730 m - which offers sublime panoramic views of the surrounding area, as far as the Puy de Sancy on a clear day.

A land steeped in history, it was also a stronghold of the Resistance during the Second World War, feared by the Germans who called it "Little Russia".
