This final stage of the 19 km Entre Combade et Briance loop takes you through the Limousin countryside, with its villages dotted with the discreet rural buildings of yesteryear.

The crossing of the Châteauneuf forest gives you the opportunity to take one last plunge into the undergrowth. Don't miss the Maquis hideout, the only rehabilitated Resistance hideout in the area.

On your return to Châteauneuf-la-Forêt, take a moment at the lake to reminisce about your peregrination.
