GRP® Monts et Barrages en Limousin - Etape 6 - D'Eymoutiers à Sussac

The sixth stage of the GR® de Pays Monts et Barrages en Limousin takes you from Eymoutiers to the bathing lake at Sussac. A new stage marked by nature, historical heritage and rurality.

Away from Eymoutiers along wooded paths, you leave behind the deep valley of the Vienne and follow the hills and valleys until you reach the Combade valley. The bucolic atmosphere invites you to slow down and savor the simple beauty of the surrounding countryside, particularly at Villevaleix, a small village typical of the Limousin region with a well-preserved rural heritage, or on the butte de Sainte-Anne offering a surprisingly unobstructed view of the surrounding countryside.
