The route includes climbs and descents on steep slopes, stony paths and tricky sections to negotiate.

The mountain-biking area offers 19 circuits (405 km in all) for both families and sports enthusiasts. They vary in difficulty (1 green, 6 blue, 10 red, 2 black, including 1 circuit with a 1500 m vertical drop and 1 circuit 93 km long) and are almost 25 km long and 15 km wide. Departures from ELAN communes, with panoramic views of the circuits. 2 chalets with sanitary facilities at Jonas (Ambazac) and Les Bordes (Jabreilles les Bordes).
