Sentier des petits ruisseaux

Starting from the municipal stadium in Compreignac, the trail follows the tributary streams of the Vincou. Within the first few metres, a small wooden bridge marks the entrance to a wet, plant-filled world. The path then runs alongside several rus, some of which feed the Tricherie pond, through wooded areas and open clearings.

Arriving at the village of Vieilleville, the route takes in quiet country lanes and winding paths above a small pond. The gentle topography of the route alternates between descents through undergrowth, through hamlets such as Lavaud-Couteilhas, and over lightly-travelled roads.

A 4.2 km variant shortens the hike by taking a fork at the entrance to Vieilleville, while retaining the ambience of the landscapes crossed and the regular presence of water.
