Bibliothèque Municipale du Palais sur Vienne

It offers free access to over 24,000 books, over 2,000 videograms and almost 2,900 phonograms. A special feature of the library is its ability to group together documents relating to all French regions. Documentaries (art, culture and heritage, geography, history, etc.) and regional novels are classified by region.

The Library welcomes classes (three school groups, one private school, a total of twenty-one classes): teachers register for the six annual sessions per class, based on a grid of thematic proposals. Special feature: working in partnership with all school groups.

The library also organizes events (shows based on an annual theme).

The library has a multimedia workshop: eight computer workstations with Internet access.
