La ferme de Maillofargueix – La biodiversité par l’éco pâturage

At the Maillofargueix farm, visitors can discover eco-pasture and different breeds of endangered sheep (Thônes et Marthod and Marron des Aravis from Savoie, Roux du Valais and Nez Noir from Valais Switzerland, Rava from Puy de Dôme, Limousine and Limousine type "Baraqué") in a preserved rural setting amidst the forests and moors of the Monts d'Ambazac. A mini educational farm with other animals (pigs, chickens, donkeys, horses...) is also a delight for young and old alike. The farm also has a herd protection dog. Groups of 10 or more are welcome all year round, by appointment only.
