📍 Saint-Amand-le-Petit
Eglise de St Amand le Petit
13th-century church built of local granite. An elegant Limousin Gothic portal opens onto the south façade. On the west façade, a small round-arched door must be the original entrance. The building has been completely restored and, since 2015, after 8 years of work, offers a new face. The commune commissioned an artist to create a contemporary setting for the interior, including a fresco, stained glass windows, furniture (including the altar) and an innovative lighting system. The work, entitled L?eau, l?air, la terre et le feu, was created by visual artist Jean-Pierre Uhlen.
