Fontaine du Docteur Ballet

Erected in 1903 and financed by a donation from Dr Gilbert Ballet, associate professor at the Paris Faculty of Medicine. A renowned neurologist born in Ambazac in 1853, he paid tribute to his father (1816-1883), a doctor, mayor and general councillor in Ambazac. Cast-iron fountain by Robert Elias, inaugurated in 1911.
