Fontaine Saint Roch à Champsac

The Fontaine Saint-Roch is located in the village of La Courrière, behind the chapel of the same name. Its purpose is to heal and protect livestock. On the slab covering the spring?s protective aedicula is a stone base from which rose an iron cross, no longer in existence. Inhabitants of Champsac often gathered here for their sick sheep, but also for children suffering from convulsions.
