Arthur la Nuit - Théâtre de l’Union
Duration: 50 minutes
TEXT BY VICTOR JESTIN; DIRECTED BY JANLOUP BERNARD AND CLARISSE BERNEZ-CAMBOT LABARTA
A party in a helmet, about a hundred people in the dark. Arthur bursts into the crowd. It’s bound to be an experience—and an irresistible one at that. Put on a headset and let yourself be carried away. Arthur the Night makes three appearances in the second half of the evening. The concept: a single performer bursts into the crowd and tells a story. Arthur, an ordinary man
turned extraordinary dancer, shares fifty years of nights in nightclubs with you: funny, melancholic, captivating. All around you, the soundscape becomes the stage design: reinterpreted hits, hyperrealistic atmospheres. You wander, feel the energy, dance—each in your own bubble, yet all together.
