Benjamin Bobenrieth feels right at home in Limousin. After recording two magnificent albums for the LABORIE Jazz label (“Travels” in 2018 and “Nahia’s Soul” in 2022), he is also well known on the festival scene, having performed there several times in groups ranging from a duo to a quintet. We are delighted to welcome him back with “Django Viatge,” a project he leads with violinist Bastien Ribot, a quintet of musicians from Toulouse united by their love of Django Reinhardt’s music, and more specifically, Django’s electric repertoire.
