A pioneering group in French rap, Sniper was formed in 1997 in the Val-d’Oise around Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko, and DJ Boudj. With landmark albums such as *Du rire aux larmes*, *Gravé dans la roche*, and *Trait pour trait*, the group established a socially conscious rap style that blends real-life experiences from the projects with social commentary.
In 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano returned to the stage as a duo for a tour that brought Sniper’s classics back to the heart of their live performances, with the same energy and authenticity.
