Exposition - Au creux de nos méandres - Alice Suret-Canale
%AB Through his immersive landscapes, the artist explores the pictorial space: What might be the most accurate representation today—one that could offer us a different perspective on the relationships between humans and the rest of the living world? How can we reinvent the frameworks in which humanity stubbornly remains at the center of the pyramid of representation? Thus, the subtle imperative of Alice Suret-Canale’s work is undoubtedly to teach us to look at our surroundings differently, as well as to reconsider our inner selves. %BB

The paintings on display explore the landscapes nestled in the hollows of our rivers and wetlands, made up of tangles of willow and poplar wood, sprawling brambles, carpeted with algae and prolific water primrose.
