Born in 1940 in Podenzana (Lunigiana), is an Italian painter specializing in fantasy and dream painting.
His dreamlike world, close to that of artist Arnold Böcklin, is populated by zoomorphic horsemen, ancestral creatures and epic battles taking place in landscapes of rock gardens, bastions and metropolitan cities that are both fiabesque and monumental.
Since 1975, his works have traveled throughout Europe, the United States and Israel. Since 2002, he has collaborated with prestigious galleries such as Graphis Arte in Milan and Havens in Columbia, South Carolina. His "Les Vigiles" series, launched in 1989 with the "Il Parnaso" company, has attracted academic attention for its anthropological approach. Notable exhibitions include "From Rosa to Lucca" (2013) at Teatro del Giglio, in tribute to the 500th anniversary of the city walls, and "A Fantastic Journey.
