Exposition KOUKA

The Franco-Congolese artist builds his creations on the plurality of narratives surrounding origin and identity. In his obsessive plastic research into classical portraiture, he rehabilitates the symbolic figures of a forgotten civilization with his Bantu Warriors.

Kouka also develops other themes around Man and Nature. His work is characterized by the expressiveness and spontaneity of gesture, revealing imperfections and drips, while favoring recycled materials as supports.
