Expression 7 - Euchariste Moisan

Edgar Bori, actor, author, and composer, performs %AB Euchariste Moisan %BB, a play written and published by Denys Arcand (director of %AB The Decline of the American Empire %BB)in 2011, featuring the main character from *Trente arpents*, a novel by Quebec author Ringuet. Divided into four seasons, this tragicomedy transports us to the heart of the reality of a 72-year-old exiled Quebec farmer who, around the 1930s, tells us his life story as a night watchman in a municipal warehouse in Lowell, in the United States. A society in crisis. A life of ups and downs chronicling the journey of this man, a product of an era when rigid religious and social principles were still the norm.
