To recount the war in an attempt to eradicate the concept from the face of the earth. To summon the memories of those who lived through it and sometimes even believed in its cathartic virtue—poor fools! To erase from the vocabulary even the five letters that make up the word. Erase it from all dictionaries, from all forms of intelligence—artificial or otherwise. Decide one day to stop talking about it and, above all, to stop enduring the daily atrocities imposed on innocent civilian populations. It’s going to be a tough task!
