Expression 7 - Mon Fric

We follow %AB Moi %BB, the narrator and central character, throughout the story of his life from 1972 to 2040. The protagonist tries to survive in a world that is now—and, it seems, forever—under the relentless and growing grip of money and profit. A member of the “lumpenbourgeoisie”— he likes to define himself that way—he will ultimately be crushed by the brutality of the economic system. Lescot likes to listen to and feel his era, and to bring it to life on stage. As he has already done with the Ceaușescus in *Les Époux*, he loves to embrace life in its entirety.
