Frairie des Petits Ventres

Come and discover an event that evokes and commemorates the memory of the Limoges butchers' guild. For one day, the Boucherie district (rue de la Boucherie, place Saint-Aurélien, place Barreyrette) and Les Halles will rediscover their origins, inviting the public to come and taste Limousin specialities in a convivial atmosphere.

The Frairie will be inaugurated in the presence of the Mayor of Limoges, and you can admire the procession of the statue of Notre-Dame-de-Pitié, a 19th-century feminine tradition. This typically Limoges festival was created in 1973 by the Association du Vieux Limoges to save the picturesque Boucherie district from destruction.
