Founded in Limoges in 1947 by René Leriche and certified as a "Métiers d'Art" company, ErelK has specialized in the manufacture of indoor shoes for over 75 years. The workshop stands out for its use of the American stitching method, a rare assembly technique that involves stitching the leather on the reverse side before turning it inside out twice. This method gives the shoes exceptional flexibility and comfort. Through this technical expertise, ErelK carries on the tradition of leather craftsmanship in the Limousin region.

Throughout the tour, follow the entire transformation process: from raw hide to the finished indoor shoe. You’ll discover the 20 essential manufacturing steps involved in crafting a pair, as well as the precise movements of the artisans as they perform the rare “American stitching” technique, characterizedby the double folding of the leather.
