Heritage in Peril: Between Ruins and Legends? An Evening at the Grand Montain Cell of Cluzeau. As the sun sets, set out to explore the Grand Montain Cell of Cluzeau, a little-known medieval heritage site now at the heart of a preservation and revitalization project led by the town of Meuzac. During a short stroll, discover the mysteries that still surround this site and the challenges of preserving these fragile ruins, as part of the European Heritage Days theme “Heritage in Peril.”The evening will continue with “La Veillée aux Fadettes” by the Compagnie des Aencres, a performance blending tales, legends, and folk traditions, set amidst the ruins. Organized by the Briance Sud Haute-Vienne Tourist Office, in partnership with the town of Meuzac. (Be sure to wear appropriate footwear.) Remember to bring a flashlight or lantern.
