If Charlemagne were among us today, he would certainly set out on a crusade to preserve the heritage tied to children’s education, just as he did in 789 when he laid the foundations for educational institutions.

For several decades now, dozens of public schools have been disappearing, much to the dismay of local communities, who see a piece of their memory vanishing forever.

In Grasmagnac, we are fortunate to have been able to preserve a little gem from the Jules Jerry laws. A %AB reconstruction of a postwar classroom %BB will be presented to you, along with a description of how it has evolved over time, accompanied by period photographs.
