Koki Nakano, a Japanese composer and pianist, develops a compositional style that bridges different worlds.

In his four albums, what stands out is his mastery of melody and the richness of his musical worlds: each piece seems to open up a new landscape, blending piano, soul, electro, and new wave with disconcerting freedom. His music is both intimate and expansive, as fascinating as it is disorienting.

Koki Nakano has performed at the Louvre, the Théâtre du Châtelet, the Palais Garnier, Cadogan Hall in London, and Lincoln Center in New York.

He has developed a deep connection between dance and music and has composed for choreographed performances, notably those by Damien Jalet.
