As resident artists at Le Clo%EEtre since 2025, Th%E9o and Jennifer are conducting a literary exploration of sheep farming culture in the Basse-Marche region: *Le Roman de Bellac*.

Through our encounters, we are constructing a sensory map where personal narratives intersect with the history of the region and agricultural transformations. The sheep serve as a mirror: reflecting the changes in the rural world, the tensions between tradition and disappearance, between attachment and the desire to leave, and between memory and the invention of new ways of life.
