Méli Mélo de la Briance
The Graines de culture de la Briance association invites you to the 2026 edition of M%E9li M%E9lo de la Briance, a day dedicated to reading and cultural exchange.
On the program:
? 10 a.m.: Opening of Méli Mélo
? 11 a.m.: Inauguration and presentation of the “Prix de la Briance”
? 3 p.m.: Lecture by historian Vincent Brousse: “Jean-Baptiste Boudeau, a Grocer and Photographer.” From 1900 to 1924, he photographed daily life in the Limousin region during his rounds as a grocer.
? 4:00 p.m.: A “dictation from days gone by,” to test your spelling in a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.
Also check out the exhibition of Jean-Baptiste Boudeau’s photographs in the multipurpose hall. About forty authors will be on hand to present their works and interact with the public: novels, essays, children’s literature, and comic books.
