The exhibition is rooted in the history of the Charles Michels building, once a large fabric and clothing store. This memory of the place is in line with our interest in the stories of everyday life, in what is familiar and shared.

It explores the place of clothing in contemporary artistic practice, seen in turn as a marker of identity, an extension of the body or a second skin. From fabric to fetish object, from weaving to raw materials - vegetable, animal or petrochemical - to second-hand uses. This collection of works examines the ways in which visible and invisible bodies are viewed, represented and traversed by clothing.
