Stage de tournage avec Gaëlle Caublot

Learn the basics or hone your skills in ceramic wheel-throwing during a workshop led by potter Gaëlle Caublot. Workshops are held throughout the month of August, with sessions available on Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At the beginning of the week, you’ll learn the essential techniques of wheel-throwing and create your own stoneware pieces. These will then be left to dry and bisque-fired (the first firing without glaze). At the end of the week, you’ll pick up your creations to turn them on the wheel, finish them, and discover the different steps involved in creating a ceramic piece. Materials, clay, and firings are fully included in the workshop. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the work of a potter, develop your creativity, and leave with pieces you’ve shaped with your own hands.
