Stephan Eicher - Box Office Limoges
Concert.
I can’t help myself.
A blank page doesn’t scare me.
A piano stool is often the only place where the world stops being too noisy, too complex.
A guitar resting on my lap helps when everything gets too fast, too heavy.
Then harmonies and melodies emerge from lyrics written by my writer friends Philippe Dijan and Martin Suter.
And then I play these musical seeds for other friends.
They start playing along with me, encourage me to record them, and other musicians join in, along with other hands.
And suddenly, these songs come to life. They become an album and find their title: Poussi%E8re d’or...
It’s time to share them—like a loaf of bread, still warm, placed in the center of a table.
