A native of New Orleans, Sonny Gullage grew up in a world where every note resonates with history. His father, Tony Gullage, played alongside Dr. John and Henry Butler, and his grandmother, Sister Alberta Gullage, was already recording gospel music in the 1960s.

At 26, Sonny has already made a name for himself on major international stages; he perfectly embodies the new wave of blues—respectful of tradition yet resolutely modern, inspiring, and conveying universal emotions. Lively on stage, subtle at the keyboard, and authentic in his lyrics, he is already making his mark on today’s musical landscape—and that of tomorrow.
