A portrait of an elderly woman as an ancient goddess.

An Olympia of the third age, a sculptural queen, muses on her velvet

couch. While waiting for her granddaughter who never arrives, this old woman—

as funny as she is cruel—settles scores with the past and gives free

course to her thoughts. Laurence Mayor shines in this tragicomic role

that implicitly evokes the fate reserved for the elderly in our

societies. Like a ritual of consolation, this dazzling monologue stands

up to death.
