Zébrures - Le Bal Chaloupé

Le bal chaloupé is a group of six musicians who, just as they are, have decided to focus on a challenge that is both simple and boundless: getting people to dance! Their repertoire of original compositions draws inspiration from Creole rhythms and melodies. You’ll hear a cumbia here, a forró there, a merengue, maloya, changci, rumba, tsapiky, and kuduro…These influences invite dancing and interaction, where improvisation can follow the audience’s lead.

This show, originally intended to bring the opening of “Zébrures à l’Opéra” to a dancing close, finds itself somewhat isolated, as the production of *Requiem pour un théâtre* had to be canceled due to a lack of funding.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes. Free admission. More information by phone.
