Zébrures - Le Silence des tabous
Vanessa and Kongo love each other, but their desire to have a child is hindered by an invisible obstacle: the weight of inherited silences. Caught between opposing visions—modernity on one side, the call of their roots on the other—their relationship teeters on the brink. Until the day they set out on a journey to the Congo, in search of a buried memory.
Born from research conducted across Africa, the Caribbean, and France, *Le Silence des tabous* weaves together the personal and the historical to reveal the traces of the slave-trading past that still linger vividly in our lives. On stage, bodies, voices, and music come together to create a vibrant theatrical experience, bordering on ritual.
